Anyone that starts a business entity in the State of Georgia has to tell the Secretary of State what type of business they intend to engage in - so Home Depot said they would be retailing home improvement products, Coke mentioned selling beverages, etc. What did Kit tell the Secretary of State in 1995 when she formed her business entity? (Continued...)
That she would be developing, trading and managing real estate. Huh? True. Take a look at her filing (below), and then ask yourself if 'KitWrites' sounds more like a business name chosen specifically to obscure the true purpose of the business entity or not.
After finding this online, I couldn't help wonder if the joke has been on us all along and perhaps her 'lucrative consulting career' began - not ended - when she became involved with the Glen Iris Board and other neighborhood organizations that hold sway over urban renewal, i.e. real estate development opportunities.
