The Glen Iris Lofts Neighbor Map (Download)

The Blog would like to thank Chris Gordon (Ph II, 611) for creating the Glen Iris Lofts Neighbor Map and sharing it with everyone!  It's an easy way to get an idea of who lives down the hall or across the way!

  1. Dear Blogger,

I have a question, Why do the Sutherland's have two units? It is my understanding that unit 408 is used as a business office for Stuart Sutherland's law firm. Would this not be an illegal use as a commercial business. Is this unit leased to a firm in any way? If so, do they have a leasing permit? If not, are the conducting business from this location or is it a residence where Stuart can hide from the compliance whippings of KIt? From what I understand, the Sutherland's reside in unit 409. If this is the case, it seems that the use of unit 408 for anything other than their primary residence would be illegal use and a direct violation of the covenants. How do we find this out? Perhaps a review of the by-laws is in order. If they are in violation, wouldn't they owe the association per diem fines since inception? Seems to me that would be a great way for the association to collect some revenues to compensate for the mismanagemnt issues as well. Who would investigate that (while I know the answer is probably crook #1 & crook # 2 - Stuart and Kit), they should have to show the association as a whole what is going on in this unit.....
